The First Tee-Montgomery County

had it’s luncheon/golf event fundraiser today June 1, 2014 at TPC Avenel.  It proved a great success with a wonderful program.  Keynote speaker was the very talented, interesting and successful Suzy Whaley. Briefly, for those who are not familiar with Suzy, she was the first woman to qualify and participate in a PGA Tour event in 58 years, following the legendary Bebe Zaharias, the only other woman to achieve this rare golf feat.  She is a believer in growing the game of golf through women and children.  She is very enthusiastic about “changing lives through golf and First Tee is helping to do just that.
